Help me out folks! 03 TL-S Air conditioning quit!!!!!!!
So, just as the title says, my AC quit working today.. I went and did some things with the girl and the AC was working great and then we go in somewhere and come ot and the dam AC just simply didn't turn on.. I've checked fuses and what not and have hit a dead end. I am looking to get some kind of help on a direction to take to get it fixed..
No AC, no heat, no defrost. No air blowing out of the vents at all.
I can usually hear when the AC kicks on and I'm not hearing that at all anymore.. Everything was fine this morning and just decided it didn't like me anymore..
HELP ME FOLKS!! Any help is useful.
Thanks.

You say you "went and did some things", then it quit working. What things did you do?
Does the climate control unit even come on? Is the temp showing? Maybe your control unit is dead.

I think that means running errands with his woman, then ac would not work
look under hood for slimy stuff at hoses to ac system- freon leak from burst oring or similar.
compressor wont kick on if the freon is low or empty
ck the fuses again-find the ones for ac and cooling fans- visual is not good enough--meter test them

I had the same problem and it was my resistor...blower motor was fine although the area around the connection was some what melted..also replaced the wire harness the part that plugs into the blower motor.
Hope this helps.

there is a known problem with the blower motor connector- the wire is short and can melt the plastic connector or damage wires,,blow resisitor,,,
acura makes an update kit with a longer wire and new connectors--just splice in
under 20 bucks for the kit
If you run the ac fan on 5 all the time - its going to cause a problem from heat and that connection

It turned out to be the blower motor and the harness was fried.. I found a guy to do it on a saturday night for $150. Not too bad.
