noise from pulley? and Question for crank pulley

i got some loud noise(clicking? metal shaking?) from red circle when i turn on the AC. and noise disappears when i turn off the ac.
ac compressor?? or my crank pulley? or belt?
so i went dealer, mech said either pulley belt or compressor.
does any 1 who are using crank pulley and using gates belt having this problem?

also he said my crank pulley doesnt give any HP.. is that true?
he was like it looks good but doens have any hp gains..

Well i would have to say its probably the compressor since you say the sound goes away with the air turned off.

If your using the UR pulley you will be gaining HP, the dealer is full of bs and doesnt know

You might be hearing the clutch on the compressor engaging and disengaging.

Never listen to the dealer when it comes to mods. They usually don't know shit, but they act like they do.

Try to put a few drop of lubricant ( engine oil ) to the AC compressor pulley
and see if it will smooth out . Since I did wash my engine 3 time and the car
does not pick up smooth when my AC is on .....a few drop of engine oil later
my car accelerate smoothly with the AC on or not just like new .

If it works for few seconds then you did find your problem ... try engine oil
'cause WD 40 is too thin ..... or you have to replace the AC compressor pulley.
Good luck

I have the same problem and its the ac clutch which cost about $200 @ the dealership. I a compressor here locally for $150 so i'm gonna get it and replace this weekend hopefully
