Hello, I have a 2003 TL type S. As soon as I turn the car on, it appears the AC comes on as well. It’s turned off from inside the car. The AC line under the hood starts to get cold, then ices up. I’m assuming the compressor is on.. While driving cold air comes out of the outlets but not when the car is stopped. The AC again is off from the front panel. When I turn it on, it works normally, blows cold air, etc. when I turn it off, its still blowing, just not as fast. I checked all the fuses and they appear to be normal. When it first started there was a loud humming noise coming from the right side of the car while we were stopped that pretty much engulfed the whole exterior. It went away when I started moving. Can it be the resistor? Any other ideas?

 

Tried the diagnostic, heard a few loud clicks and clacks coming from the right side of the vehicle, but no code
on the display.
