My check engine light is on all the time. Also, my TCS lights will go on and off with no specific sequence. No codes are showing and my mechanic is stumped. I would love any information I can share with him. Thanks!

 

From what I've been reading, it sounds like the tranny is going. Are you showing any other symptoms?

Would say EGR is your likely culprit. Pull the codes. There HAS to be a code. If your guy says no then get someone else to look at it.

The CEL is coming on but there is NO code? Who is reading it. Are you trying to read it when the light is on? Find someone else with a scanner (most auto parts stores) and have them try to get the codes.
