My both headlights are not working

Hello Everyone,

My low beam headlights are not working. I changes the my HID buld on one side and the lights are still not working. The high beam works fine. I checked all the fuses and they are all fine.
Can anyone suggest something?

Maybe both of your ballast's are blown. If power come to the wire before the ballast then the ballast or bulb is the problem. If you don't get any power in the wires at all then the problem is most likely fuse or another electrical issue.

You'll need a voltage meter tester. Get it at pepboys. The problems might be a ballast, igniter, or either fuse.

No because the ballast has way higher voltage than a regular bulb can handle.
Don't do that because it can melt the bulb causing the car to catch on fire.

My HID kit was stolen out of my TLS but I just splice the wire and soldier 9006 sockets onto it, I put in regular Hyper Purple Bulbs from PIAA.

Its cheaper and it easier maintenance.

I will not use the the HID Kit.

How bright will that be?

Before you worry about that get the lights working. I had issues with mine last month. I ended you having to replace the igniter. Before you spend any money on parts diagnose the problem and go from there

hmmm you'll wanna check out the igniter, its the cap that the actual bulb plugs into oh, and make sure you don't touch the glass on the bulb. bad idea.
