Maintenance Required Light and Maintenance Schedule
I still have to fix the tstat bolt only 1 bolt is holding the housing down but no coolant is coming out, but I should really find out what bolt I need, any clue?
I would be more concerned with getting the broken part out. Its more then likely going to be the same size and tread pitch as the other bolt that hold on the housing. Once you have the broken piece out then you can test fit one of the other bolts to confirm what you need.
Hey Tjkazai, are ya driving the car with just the one bolt holding the T-stat ? Ya really don't wanna take the risk of something happening which may jeopardize your car's cooling system.
Even if ya had the right bolt in your hand now, ya would still have to pull the T-stat's housing cover to remove the broken part of the original bolt.
So, just take the cover off again and with a bit of luck the old bolt may be broken high enough to get needle nosed vice grips on it to carefully remove. If ya still have the top part of the broken bolt head, compare it to the other side's good bolt once it's removed. You'll then know how much is left remaining of the threaded broken bolt within. If ya can't get on it, the next step would be to drill the bolt and try to use an EZout extractor, "PITA".

If ya are lucky enough to get the broken bolt out, make sure that the internal threads are good and not cross-threaded, otherwise you would need to possibly use a tap & die to chase and clean the bolt holes. Buy 2 new bolts and apply anti-seize before re-installing the cover.
Don't over torque the bolts !
