left headlight sensor.

left headlight sensor.

alright my left headlight went out. i bought a new bulb and replaced the bulb, it flickers but still doesnt work. i checked the fuses and im getting 12volts on the male side that plugs into the headlight. So what i think is that it might be the sensor that senses if the light has come on. does anyone know the name of the little box that is attached on the bottom of the headlight? ill need to be replacing it.

Which bulb doesn't work, high or low beam?
There's no such sensor. The "box" under the headlight is the inverter for the HID bulb (low beam).

the left, alright thanks...its my low beam so my box (inverter) theory might be correct.

Yeah, if it flickers, it is most likely your ballast (inverter). Searching ballast will give you more results.

if you had moisture inside the headlight lens- that drips down and out onto the ballast- which fries it

must fix headlight seal and replace ballast--
junkyard or aftermarket for different unit are best options

you should always replace bulbs in pairs--you will soon notice the differance in color and brightness
