Angry Leak (i did search!)

Ok after reading pages and pages after I did a search....no one seems to have a resolution to their trunk leaking. Some did state that it was due to either tail lights (passanger side) or the sunroof. Mine seems to be coming from the sunroof. Anyone having the same problem? I do see the plastic tubes coming down and the one on the passanger side seems to be loose. Not on the bottom but at the top. Im assuming this leads to the sunroof (duh ) but does anyone have a fix for this? I am lost! It has completely runied a $3000 custom stereo!!!!!!

someone please help!!!

more info. car is not under warranty. i dont know if the bass had something to do with it leaking or not. i never had the stereo on in the rain bec i knew the trunk would bounce and cause it to leak around the seal. i have ordered another seal from acura. its freaking 10 degrees outside so i cant really pour water on it.

sorry for the long post but at this point im frustrated and need to complain. water meets electrical components=all effin bad!

oh its an 02 TL-S.

You will most likely have to pull the head liner down to gain access to the drain hoses to see if they are attached or where its leaking.

yea pretty much. Remove the sunglass holder, visors and clips, and remove the rubber trim ring that goes around the sunroof opening.

oke dokie. found the leak. it was a bad trunk seal. also there were a few gaps (looks like it had been in an accident, im the 2nd owner). so i put in the new seal and layed a healthy ammount of silicone caulk around the seal and any other place where it might leak. found this grey silicone and it matches my paint fairly well. its supposed to rain pretty good tonight so ill let you all know if there is any more leaks. if not. ill post picts of where i put the silicone....

love the site!! if i didnt find this site my dumba$$ probably would have taken it to the dealer.
