ok guys so i bought the front and rear pad from internet and took it to a small garage near my house to be installed, and i asked one of the guys from there, how much time/labour cost am i looking at ? and he said it takes about 2 and half hours to put the front and rear pads which is about 178 buck b4 tax? but i told him, i will think about it because it looked like he was adding extra time for sucha small job. how long does it take to put the front and read pad anyways on tl02s?

30-40 min tops. Its VERY easy. Add another 20 min or so to bleed the brakes (which should be done)

Probably will take longer for somebody who hasn't done it but so what? Do it, gain experience & knowledge & save some $$ too. Plus you're more likely to take the time to do it correctly when it's YOUR car.
If you decide to do it be sure to use jack stands (never get under the car supported only by a jack, esp. the flimsy ones that come with cars), chock the wheels & set the emergency brake.

lol i have to share this with you guys. so after i post the thread and got the first reply, i went on to search for different garage to have it install. At first i took it to miads, so i go tell the service guy i need to have pads install on my car, which i will provide now if i could have a price estimate on the labour.he tells me he needs to do inspection on the brake which will cost me 69.99 bucks before he would touch the car. i am like my brakes are fine and so are rotors and i just want my pads install, do you wana do it or not. he tells me he only does professional work, which is having inspection first. so i am telling myself ok w.e i will do the insepection but lets hear the guy out first about labour price. Then he basically prints out a paper with the price tag of front and rear rotors and and the labour, which accumlated to 652. so i am like wtf did you just do? and hes like hes professional and if he has to touch the pads he has to do the rotors aswell, because supposably new pads needs new rotors, exactly his word.

wham bam thank you ma'am
it it recommended that u replace the rotors also, but u can cut them if their still thick enough. go to the region section and ask if someone can help u their.

Turning rotors cost like 10 bucks, pads 25. There is no way there is over 600 in labor to do a 1 hr job.

Why go through that- do you have any tools and time, or are you just afraid you will mess it up?
guys every single garage i took it to, they r saying one hour for the front and one hour for the back. and no i dnt have any tool, i live in an apartment by myself, i am a student. i am nt sure what to do, just give up looking for cheaper labour or just spend 180+ to have them install. i want them install asap . because the old ones are making noises.
wham bam thank you ma'am
check the region section. buy some beer and ppl will come to help up, just give them the beer after the job is done.
like in our region, some guy needs help putting on coil over, he buys some beer and 4 ppl signed up to help him out. i help ppl bc when i need help someone will be their and i dont have to take it to a shop.
