It's been real....

So after my tranny died a few months back and me contemplating fixing it, me and my wife came to the conclusion that this could happen again and again with this car, gave me 8 good years, was able to get rid of it for $1200 which is pretty good since the tranny was dead, got into a 2013 Infiniti G37X, you guys have been great, thanks!

Anyone know a good Infiniti forum as good as this one?

Congrats on the new '13 Infiniti !!!
I'm sure that you'll be able to come up with a forum......even though you won't need much.

Too bad that you were unable to spend some money on the TL, as you basically gave it away.
But, that's irrelevant now that you have chosen to go with a new car. Cheers !!!!

For the cost of a few months payments you coulda swapped in the 6 speed an had a car that would last for 500,000 miles or more.

Thanks appreciate it, but if you do the math, I didnt give it away, the car is worth under $3000, needs a new tranny $2500, all the motor mounts $900, water pump/timing belt, I think it's silly to keep throwing thousands of dollars into a car when you have a familly and you have to hope nothing goes wrong next, I have peace of mind and have no regrets, maybe you dont mind throwing your life savings into keeping a car forever but in the real worls, things dont work that way........

To each his own like I told 3.2TLC, you cant keep a car forever.....Not trying to have grease under my nails every weekend hoping the car wont break down on a family trip, but some people dont mind risking that.

The best Infiniti forum is Car Talk

Congrats though. I'm sure you got a great deal. I just replaced my TL as well and I looked at the G37X. The deals were really appealing since the new Q50 is coming out soon.

Congrat on your new ride.. enjoy the new car smell and no loose rattling noise going over bumps, then until that first scratch.. LOL

I got a few rides but still keeping my TL, I am a DIY type so I save lots on repair.

Congrats on the new ride. Those VQ37 motors in Infiniti cars are amazing.
