i think i almost hydrolocked my car need some answers
so today it was snowing and on my way home i wish i left my car at home...so this is whatt happened i am on the highway and i look in my rear view and i see a cloud of smoke coming from my car and my car just felt like it just froze so i pulled over right away and turned the car off i checked my intake cone and it was kindoff wet so, i waited a few min and started it again and a bit of smoke started to come again so i waited a half hour on the highway and then started again and it was ok so i went to a gas station and left the car on start and it kept idleing up and down a bit so i waited a bit, then i just took the intake pipe off and the car to see if there was water in the throttle and it started to act normal again so i drove home like does anyone know why it puffed out white smoke? should i be worried and i think i should change the oil but is there anything else i should do just in case? thanks

Did you smell the "smoke" coming out of the exhaust? Did it smell sweet or like burned oil?
As Kris said, you don't kind of hydrolock. It's like being kind of pregnant.
Snow would not cause it to hydrolock unless you were buried in a snowdrift. My personal opinion based on the limited information you gave is you might have blown a head gasket. Check the radiator fluid level.

yea i am missing the fender liner its running ok right now i guess if anything happened it would started to show by now but i am still worried since it puffed white smoke for a good 1-2 min when it happened buts its running good but should i change my oil and filter just to be on the safe side? and if head gasket blew would the car still be driving or is there anyway to check if its about to blow ?

You didnt blow a head gasket, and you dont need to change your oil and filter. What you do NEED to do is GET a fender liner on it before you do cause serious damage. Those things are there for a reason
