Hey How To Get Factory Cd Player Out
Hello all i am new to the site, Anyway I just picked up a 2003 T.L in great shape for a good price the only problem is that the previous owner, got his cds jammed in it, Sorry it is the 6 disc in dash stereo, All i need to know is how to get it out but also how to remove the wood trim on either side of the console Thanks Guys Aaron.
Before you pull the radio, you might want to try some tricks other forum members have tried.
For example, some have been able to get the discs out by hitting the unit.
Here's a sample thread, although there are many others:

If that dosent work then...
I tried to find the DIY(DoItYourself) But I couldnt find it. Anyway its east to take off. First you have to pull your wood trim from the center consol. Just open the arm rest up and pull up on the wood trim and pull to pull the clips out. then you can remove the 2 screws that hold the rear section of the armrest. They are located near where the cup hold and the shifter sit. Then they are 2 screws in the bottom/inside/in the deepest part of the well of the armrest under that lil cushin thing. Pull those out and slide the rear arm rest piece back. then take the pannels from each side of the radio. There are a few screws holding that down. Now you should have a good view of the radio. Just a few more screws holding the radio in and pull it out. Becareful of the cd tray above it. Just a lil work and you should be able to figure that one out. I hope this helps. I took mine out several times and just went from off top of the head.
