I started driving my 1999 TL tonight and the instrument panel doesn't light up. I checked fuse #9 in the driver side fuse box but it was fine, and the gauges work correctly. I also noticed that when I lock or unlock the car with the remote the rear brake lights don't flash like they used to. Anyone know what this could be? I was thinking just a burned out bulb in the instrument panel, but the fact that the brake lights don't flash worries me.

My aftermarket head unit also stopped working earlier in the work, but I don't know if that's related. It still displays fine, but no sound comes out of the speakers. I'm really hoping this isn't some big electrical problem...
