Having trouble getting to door lock actuator

Now that the semester is over I've been working on all the small fixes for my '02 TL-S. My rear right passenger lock has worked intermittently since I've had the car. Today I took off the panel, peeled off the white plastic cover, but could not figure out how to get to the actuator. I want to check to see if I need to replace the actuator, or maybe something might be getting stuck, but I can't figure out how to get to it. I have the service manual, but there are no instructions in there on how to get to it. Does anyone have any DIY's posted on here? I can't seem to find one for my car. Thanks!

Try lubing up the linkages and rod ends. The mechanisms may be dry.
