I need new mounts and looked up the factory mounts. I noticed there are two front mounts on the diagram. One has a vacuum port the other doesn't. The only one listed with a part number is the one without the port. Was the ported mount discontinued? I read here that there could be a vibration problem if the non-vacuum mount is used. Any Acura techs or very knowledgeable people here that could let me know what to get?

The #34 front mount below is vacuum ported.
The #5 mount must have been superseded by #34 because it is no longer listed.
If you want to try a less expensive aftermarket front mount, take the part number below and 'search' it on RockAuto.com.
I heard there are vibration issues with aftermarket mounts. Where in South Florida are you? Do have an idea which brand is better? Beck/Arnley has been around a long tong time but not sure if their stuff is any good anymore.
I also used a complete set from RockAuto. I DID have to buy an additional mount the kit did not have (the kit included a different design than what came out of the vehicle), so I was forced to source the proper mount and I believe I bought it from Amazon.
I will note that the vacuum-enabled mounts DO NOT SEAL!!! What I mean is that they do not properly seal for vacuum and result in a vacuum leak. I have heard the OEM mounts seal properly, but they do not last as long as the aftermarket mounts (more compliance means more vibrations taken up, but less longevity) so it is a toss up.
Personally I used a hand-held vacuum/pressire tool (like a Mighty-Vac), applied RTV around the sealing area on the bottom of the mount and used vacuum to suck some of the RTV into the sealing gap, then used a little bit of pressure to push it back out to become flush with the gap itself, that way I knew the mount was sealed properly long-term. I let the mounts sit for a few days then pressure and vacuum tested them. They both held over 12psi of pressure and over 35" of vacuum for a day per test.
Now I will admit the aftermarket mounts DO transmit a little vibration into the steering wheel, but it is not excessive and does "get better" over time (I have had mine in for two years now). The way the mounts work is that they stiffen up at idle to prevent engine "rocking" back and forth on hard acceleration. They "soften up" while cruising and you do not notice any vibration or such when the vehicle is in motion. They also "activate" and sitffen up when you floor the gas pedal at speed.
Personally, I could not justify the expense of OEM mounts, but I am satisfied with the way the sealed aftermarket mounts perform.
