Electrical Problem???

Soooo I haven't found any related issues on the forums...

But as I was driving to work today, for some reason, my double din kept powering off/powering back on. When it did that, the maint. required light also flashed. It did this 4 times within like 10 minutes of driving.

Does anyone know what sorta electrical problem this may be???

*Double din is a Kenwood*

Check your wiring to the radio to make sure nothing is loose or shorting out.

Will do! Thanks.

Would a loose/shorting out of a wire from the radio would cause my maint light to flash on/off too?

a short in electrical wiring will cause ANYTHING weird to happen.
its shorting out!! you've heard of the term electrical gremlins right? problems will just start to show up out of nowhere.

but thats not what fatty asked you to do! he asked for you to inspect to see if there are any loose wires. also, inspect the battery terminals. make sure they arent loose, corroded, disconnected, etc.
