Welcome Sassapazz !!!
There's a good chance that ya blew a fuse or two....check them out.

Did all the Amp wiring go smoothly without any problems ? Check the grounds and connections to the Amp again....along with the main underhood fuses and relays.

Start with the underhood fuse/relay box: (#41 and #42, 60A)
then driver's underdash fuse panel: (#13, 7.5A)
and other then the above, maybe the PGM-FI main relay or PCM ?

If all of these are good, doublecheck the battery and starter circuits, as something may have caused a short.....fusible link ?

Your best bet would be to download a copy of the Factory Service Manual for more detailed electrical circuit diagrams and troubleshooting info.

there is a main ground wire under the spare tire,,were you anywhere near there?
tap into a ground or made a fresh one for amp?

relays of same color can be swapped for testing
fuses can `look` good,,only a test light or multi meter- if no power from source- can tell for sure
harbor freight tools gives aways multi meter with coupon,,everyone should have one

Are you checking the fuses with a test light or voltmeter, as opposed to just eyeballing them? Check fuse #41 underhood, the 120 amp one.

Well I had it towed to a mechanic, I was tired of not getting anywhere. Hopefully they can figure it out.

Ya gave up too easily !!!
Your "DIY" installation of the Amp will prove to be rather costly. Probably end up being something relatively simple......such as a blown fuse.

Well I guess the computer modules were scrambled. They reset the computer and it fired right up! I don't think I could've done that on my own, or could I? Anyways thanks for all your helpful advice!

Hopefully they didn't charge ya too much. No blown fuses ?

But, to answer your question.....you could've "Reset" the computer (ECU) had you known that was where the problem actually was.
Sometimes, the actual diagnosis is the difficult part in itself.
