D4 light on is blinking/Code 1773
my d4 light is blinking and the check engine is on also, when i checked it with the scanner i got a code 1773 for Automatic transmission malfunction great another problem

probably p1730 code or a p1750
incorrect gear ratio.
clutch pressure failure.
check lfuid, check for leaks, if not it's an internal trans. failure and you will need a trans.

The diagnostic proceedure for that code is 11 steps long and could lead to anything from a bad solenoid, to a wiring harness problem, to a bad PCM.
You could go the "cheap" route and put in the new solenoid - since you know all about it. Just be warned that a new solenoid may not fix that code.
