Cracked Side Mirror

My mirror was hit on the street. The glass is cracked, and it's hanging in there loosely but I don't need to replace the casing or anything (hopefully)...

Has anyone replaced their side mirror themselves? Any DIY for this?? Any help would be great, thanks!

sorry motor and such does not come as an assembly anymore, it did on a 92 if you so wanted it, with the glass like $28 and then including the motor itself was like $32 or something stupid

but anyways OP, try this http://www.hondapartsunlimited.com/i...&submit=submit

$29.93 plus shipping, a little more at your local dealer, but then you don't have to pay shipping though, so up to you where you want to get it, but either way should cost less then $40

btw that includes a new heating element on the glass portion itself, so can't complain about that price lol

and as far as the glass itself coming out, it should be like one or so screw, then normally the whole motor with the glass pops out, then you unhook the glass itself from the motor assembly

and acyually looking at it, you might actually just set the mirror in the full down position, and pointed to the outside, then just give it a little tug to pop it right out, then just pop in the new one

sorry you put the mirror upwards but:
Mirror Holder Replacement

  1. Pry the mirror holder (A) out from the bottom until you can see the pivot (B) of the actuator, then detach the pivot using a flat-tip screwdriver wrapped with a shop towel. Take care not to scratch the mirror (C).

  1. Pull out the actuator shafts (A), release the hooks (B) from the actuator (C), and remove the mirror holder (D). Disconnect the mirror defogger terminals (E).

  1. Remove the actuator shafts (A) and rubber boots (B) from the old mirror holder (C). Check the actuator shaft and rubber boot for damage or deterioration, and replace them if necessary.

  1. Install the holder in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
