Check Engine Light/Data Link Connector

I have a CEL on and can't find the DLC to pull the code? I've tried searching the forum but the search function doesn't work. Can anyone tell me where the data link connector/port is so I can pull the code? Thanks.

Mine ('02 TL-S) is between the seat heater switches, behind a small plastic cover.

The DLC/OBD2 port is right between the seat heater switches. There's an "L"-shaped plastic piece that you just pull out (grab the top of it and pull towards you).

Yup, found it and pulled the code. Guess I'm in for some fun. P0740. Luckily, I work for a vehicle service contract provider and I bought a contract on this car a month after I bought it. I'm thinking if I need a trans, I should be good to go. Have the day off tomorrow. Will be taking it to the Acura dealer for an official determination.

Just got the call from my Acura dealer service advisor. Getting an Acura reman transmission, lower ball joints, outer tie rod ends and all three motor mounts replaced to the tune of $3700.00. My cost.......$ZERO! My vehicle service contract (we in the business don't like to call them "warrantys") is covering all parts and labor with no deductible. Actually, I'm paying for an oil change and to have my parking brake adjusted. I spent $989.00 on that contract 6 months ago. I guess I can say it MORE than paid for itself!
