Check Engine Light on

This morning when I started the car, the check engine light lits up, as well as the TCS light and the transmission D5 light is blinking.

Car drives ok with no obvious problem, but worry a bit. I wonder if anyone experienced this before.

Mine is a 2002 3.2 TL automatic
151K miles.

Sounds like a tranny going bad.
Get to an AutoZone or a shop that can read the CEL and report back the code.

Next day car downshifted from 70-30MPH on the hwy driving to work and started grinding. Drove it right to ACURA and they told me it was a bad tranny and they would help me out 10% and it would cost me $4100 + tax.. Thanks alot ACURA..

Good luck bro but a rebuild is gonna cost u $2500-3500..

It could also be a trans temp sensor. Get the codes read and tell us what it says.

Unfortunately, mine was just a temp. sensor. I'm still under the warranty extension would rather have the thing fail NOW, not when it's too late. Damn, I probably just cursed myself.

Unhappy

Many thanks to u all.

original tranny replaced at 55k

2nd tranny replaced at 95K

Since then, replace transmission fluid every 10K for prevention.

3rd tranny now is at 151K. Out of extended warranty long time...

Will have the car check out and let you guys know.

Thanks again!!
