check engine light

ok noticed my 2000 tl was running a little ruff a couple weeks ago. 147kms. pulled the spark plugs looked ok but time for some new ones. i went to canadain tire which didnt have the exact same as what was in there but there books listed ngk's g power. close to the pzfr5f but they were just ?zfr5f didnt have the - 10 after them? i kinda forget what they exactly were i gotta pull em out to see. So car seemed to run better maybe put 500km on it. then wife complains its running like shit and the check engine light comes on. i drove it it seems fine but the check engine light is on. could it be the plugs? if so if i get the exact right ones can i reset the check engine light? or will it reset it self? i plan on getting the code reader and see what it says. thanks in advance

matt

Canadian \Tires has NGK Iridium in a package of 2 .
Why don't you get Iridium NGK plugs ? By the way , you might got the wrong plugs .

It might not be the Plugs but I think you should not put anything other the NGK Double Platinum ( not available in Canadians Tires ) or NGK Iridium ....it's a crime !

^ bottom line you need to get the codes read. Also double check that you have all the coil packs plugged in correctly/completely.
