CAR WONT START! Please help
Alright, I have a 99 tl with 100,500 miles on it. A couple weeks ago I go to accelerate and my car just shuts off. Ignition switch? Probably, but I just ignored it. Today im driving and all of a sudden my car KICKS, it felt like the torque converter kicking or something like that, and at the same time I hear a beeping noise and my MAINTANANCE LIGHT flashes like 3 times then everything went back to normal. So then I went home shut off my car and now it wont start. Well, it starts then it immediatly shuts off, everytime! One thing I noticed is that when I put the key on position 2 nothing has power to them. My windows dont work, my dash lights dont come on, nothing! Is that an ignition switch? Please help. Thanks.
Im with you on the ignition switch... I feel that my 99 is in the begining stage of going out...for instance the other day, i was driving and the car just turned off while driving, but immediately turned back on as soon as i pushed slightly on the key.
Ignition switch
Get it fixed before it leaves you stranded or shuts off at a really bad time

Ok, so I bought an ignition switch from AUTOZONE for $41.99 and it only took 10 minutes to replace it. Right away my car started. So it was a very easy fix. Oh, and the old ignition switch was melted around the plastic. Take it to an Acura dealership and im sure they will charge you hundreds. You can get the step by step directions printed out for you how to change the ignition switch from AUTOZONE, and seriously it was a very easy job, anyone can do it and save $.
