I had the same problem on an 01 CLS that I had. It would vibrate at high speeds, and everything would shake. I thought it was the rotors, but they were fine. However when I did take it to acura, they said that it was possibly that the brake pads where sitting on a very slight angle on the rotor. they said that this could be the cause, I didnt fix it because my car was hit for the third time in a year and i decided to trade it in for an 04 TL. Hope this helps

Its possible the tires arent balanced properly. Id bring it in and tell them your getting a vibration and would like the tires checked for balance

Check your tire pressure as well. I had vibrations for a few days going 65+ and I noticed the tire pressures weren't matched upped. Pumped up my tires and everything was fine.

Check balance, then look for a bent wheel.

Red face

My tire pressure is +3PSI of the recommended pressure in all 4 tires.

and ye two front tires are yokohama and two rear tires are OEM michelins.
would that setup make my car vibrate?
and for the balancing the tires...
i juss looked at the tires and thos pins are removed...(balancing pins)
so i think he balanced it.....any other ideas?? or its just a matter of rebalancing.??

no the tire pressure wouldnt do it. What do you mean by balancing pins? you mean the wheel weights? If they arent there thats could be your problem. Id still bring it in to have teh wheels checked for balances

any news ...

I am having same problem on 60mph. Funny think - that happens only from 55 to 65 mph (at 60 is a peak). At these speeds I feet around steering wheel shake (around 1/2 inches).

And I believe it start happening after Acura dealer accidentally broke my front tire, and both front tires was replaced to a brand new (can’t recall brand now). So I believe (hope ) the tires was balanced. Or new tires need to be rebalanced in short time after first installation?

May be anyone know what this can be?

Wheels was rebalanced and that fixed the problem. So means first time they was not balanced or was not balanced properly. Shame on them! (official Acura dealer and service center in Rochester).

If your steering wheel is shaking bad your tie rod ends could be worn.
