No, i caught it. Just pointing out that a compression test will narrow down a cyl, not the cause of.

if doing a compression test and get low reading:
test first time `dry`, if reading is low- add a squirt of engine oil to cyl and crank a few times, then retest compression

Reading stays same = valve problem
Pressure Increase = ring problem (that oil is helping make a ring seal)
