Hey I recently got "Brake Light" light on and I cannot figure out why. All 3 of my brake lights work perfectly.

Could it be because of one of my headlights ballast is broken? I'm getting aftermarket ballasts for them anyways.

 

I dont remember we have Brake Light. We have either Brake, or Brake Lamp. If it's not Brake Lamp, then you need to check Brake reservoir, reservoir float issue, or low brake pads, or emerg brake padal.

 

I think the CL is pretty susceptible to this issue, too. IIRC, it's a sensor in the brake reservoir cap? I'm not sure if TL is identical in this case, but it was the cause on my sisters CL when she got this.

 

cap on master cyl can crack or otherwise have bad fluid level sensor
remove and flip upside to test action

LAMP light is bulb issue
red BRAKE light is fluid low prob, park brake on, or bad switch for brake lights
