Smoke from back tires

Hey guys hope you know whats going on with my car!

scenario: As i am driving I hear a loud chiming noise not from the rear wheels. I pulled over and i see smoke coming from the brakes or caliper or rotors? Im
not sure what it is but the rims are hot to touch. Does anyone know what this is?

Possibly stuck parking brake or stuck caliper.

He's got it right, but you're going to have to pull the wheel to determine what the real problem is. If your dash lights are not indicating a brake problem, it's more than likely a caliper seized up. Jack up the car so that the affected wheel is off the ground, then try to spin the tire by hand. If it seems really tight, then you've got your work cut out. If run that way for long, the rotor will warp due to the excessive heat from the drag of that caliper's pads. The pads will wear quickly and disintegrate.

probably stuck caliper
happens from not changing brake fluid, and from age or bad weather= salt roads etc

pull wheels and inspect, replace both rears= if one is bad the other follows soon

yes you have to flush/bleed the entire brake system,,it needs it anyway

Hey guys quick question, i remember early this week i made this post because i seen smoke coming from my rear driver side wheel and you guys said it could be a stuck caliper and i was going to buy a new one.couple days past and it hasnt been smoking or no noise coming from the rear, do you think I should still replace it if it only happened that one time?

You should inspect it and while you are there, bleed it. if moisture got into that caliper, it could cause caliper to expand unexpectedly depending on the heat.
