The ABS pumps are like page 19-103 for the 1999's, while years with VSA have what's on page 19-191 correct?

^^ Yup the old Pump doesn't have it! but that's not a plate to change fluid, it has a small protective screen to catch garbage. That its the only purpose.

as I read this I wondered why I never heard of changing fluid at the abs pump!

^ Yah though is not made for that if you open that little sucker you add air between the Reservoir and the ABS Pump which is NOT COOL! My advice would be..


If you are flushing the entire system, Open that sucker and clean the screen then Flush the Brake Fluid. DON´T OPEN IT AFTER THE FLUSH.
