Blower Motor or resistor

A/C just stopped blowing air last night.

Issue persists on all different settings (Fan min, Fan max, Full Auto).

I'm about to order a blower motor, but want to make sure it is not possibly the resistor first before doing the repair. To my knowledge, no wires have any signs of melting or corrosion. All fuses look good too.

Should I try to jump the motor to see if it works or maybe take the resistor out look at that?

On a side note...how does the resistor wire unplug from the unit? I didn't feel any typical clip or push mechanism on it.

you looked at the power connector under front of glovebox? that's the problem area
Often when it goes bad and arcs- it takes out the resistor
The blower motor does fail too- the cars are getting on in years, spin it by hand
then try jumping it
the resistor is to reduce fan speed from max to whatever you want
Never order parts before taking it apart and knowing all the things to buy!!

sometimes its just the power connection if you are lucky!
cut back burnt wire and splice in a new section of wire without a connector

the resistor has a cover/heat shroud over it

Jumped the motor, spun up as expected.

So I think I can rule that out. Again, the wires look fine. No corrosion or melting.

UPDATE:

Switched out the resistor with a new one.

Problem is resolved. A/C is back to blowing strong, cold air.

Just to further add to this, 9/10 times if the subharness isn't melted it is the resistor on these cars that goes bad that causes the fan to not work or AC/heat to not work.

see diy on vent mechanism
If you get adjustable blower speed, the resistor is fine
