I replaced my altanator a few weeks ago. The same battery and brake lights keep coming on. What could it be now? Scared of being broke dwn.

 

Was the battery light on prior to the replacement of the alternator ?
Make sure the bolts holding the alternator are snug and also check the cables going to it
Lastly make sure the belt is actually installed.

 

what made you replace the alt?
were there problems with battery not recharging?
shop/parts store tested as bad alt, but battery was still ok?
parts store test for free- what are the batt and alt readings now?

Yeah, if the warning lamps were on before the alternator replacement, recheck your wiring connections and grounds. If nothing apparent, have the electrical charging system load tested and check for scavenger drain.
