Is there a thread on cleaning the shift solunoid parden my spelling if there is can you send me it thanx......

I havent seen a diy on here for the solenoids but it would be good to have one.

there are bits and pieces on part location in different threads,,tried search?
beyond that- remove and clean,,
not sure whats safe to use as a cleaner on them-heard brake fluid

GURUs of selenoids??

I think if you have issue with solenoid, it's better just to change it. I change out the unit on my car 3rd and 4th solenoid, but didn't see no difference.

You have to check for resistance on the solenoids to warrant replacement.

Well here's the issue I'm have with my car. Whenever its about to change into fourth gear it goes into neutral but when I let off of the gas it changes into fourth...so that means I rather change the fourth solenoid?????????
