AFC NEO causes check engine, vsa, & traction control lights to turn on

I just recently had an AFC NEO installed with the PNP harness, but ever since then the check engine, VSA, and traction control lights stay on. They only come on with it plugged in. The wiring is all correct b/c the NEO turns on and has all the correct read outs. I took it to a performance shop to have them look at it and they couldn't figure out why it's doing this either. They also said all the wiring is correct. The guy said he even has an 01 CL with the same NEO and it works just fine. I have an appointment Teusday to bring it back. The guy is going to bring his CL to compare the wiring and everything. I disconnected it and plugged the factory wires in until I take it back, so the lights wouldn't be on, on the dash. I tried disconnecting the battery but it didn't work.
Has anyone had this problem before? Anyone know what the problem is and/or how to fix it?? Please help!
Here's picture of the dash with the lights on.

Did the guy who installed it actually set all the correct settings on it and tune it? It's more complicated than just plugging it in.

i had it installed and mounted in the sunglass holder, without putting any tune in it, so it could be ready for tuning the next morning. Since then, the lights came on, and it also didn't drive right. So when I got home (10-15 miles) I disconnected it, which turned the lights off. Then when I got to the place the next day, the guy connected it (lights turned back on) and went through and did some stuff to the neo. I don't know exactly what he did, I wasn't allowed in the work area. It was never put on a dyno. They guy said he'd never seen this before, so he's bringing his CL with the neo Teusday to compare.

well there are 3 things it could be.
1.) its really not hooked up right
2.) it needs to be tuned
3.) the unit itself is bad.

Any shop that wouldnt allow me to watch them working on my car wouldnt get my service. any shop that installed something in my car and it didnt work when i left would still have my car until it was fixed or removed

i'll find out tomorrow. i'll be sure to be with my car while he's working on it. hopefully it can be fixed. i'll get the codes either way, and IF it does get fixed i'll find out what the problem was so if anyone else has this problem they'll know what to do.

I got it fixed

It wasn't wired correct. One of the ground wires was grounded to the air map sensor wire, which was throwing up the code for the air map sensor. They guy noticed on his CL it was grounded to a different wire, then changed it. I had 217 hp before then after the tuning i got 227 hp. So +10 hp!
