The air mix motor may be a specific part which is only available from OEM Acura sources.

Ok well I got the air mix motor all back together. I'm gonna put it back and see what happens, I really wish it didn't all fall out like that before I had a chance to take a picture I messed up. hopefully it works

Alright, so Im back with more information, I have recently been trying to get the air mix motor in repeatedly and having a hard time trying to correct the major mistake I made, however after further examination of the climate control self diagnosis system I realized it is actually giving me two letters for codes, the first is G, and the next is K. Now from what I'm seeing K is most likely related to the fact that my air mix motor isn't connected right now, however does anyone have any idea what the most likely reason for g would be?

G = Evaporator temperature sensor (open circuit or faulty sensor)

K = Air mix control motor (obstructed door or faulty motor)

heater valve cable adjustment

i found this page in the manual, thought it might help some. We have an issue ( for some time ) where the heater works great until the car has run for a while, and then the valve closes completely and the air runs cold, the heat can be activated again by turning the heat back close to max.I removed the cable from the valve under the hood, the valve moves easily, and that sent me looking for another source of the issue. Will report back on this test and possibly removing the motor too.

Got mine up and running today ( doing the timing belt etc) and found the heater valve working perfectly. I had removed the short hose to the fire wall to check the valve moved freely, see if there was any gunk in the valve, and used liquid Teflon on the cable into the housing. I don't use WD 40 etc on things I want to run smooth, it attracts dirt and holds it. Triflow is a better product for cables, doorlocks etc I find.
I watched the motor working smoothly, and now the temperature is adjusting with the dial being operated, like it used to before the sticking. If it stops working again, will post back here.
Thanks for all the posts on this thread.
