2003 TL-S Blower intermittant operation
2003 TL-S Blower intermittant operation
I drive 2003 TL-S at 125000 miles. Owned for 4 years now and did not experience any major issue so far.
Yesterday I noticed blower dead. While driving for few minutes with A/C on but nothing happening, without doing anything, blower came on as normal functioning. It worked for few minutes and died again without touching anything.
From these symptoms, can you please advise what are the possiblities or areas of concern.
My hunch is possible electrical issue like AC relay or something like that.
Please advise.

Did some research and found probable cause.

I now need to check for issue and buy Blower Motor Subharness: P/N 04321-S0K-A00 when confirmed.

the wiring harness is very accessible right under the dash. Mine did the same thing. The wiring harness that connects to the blower motor was corroded and not making a good connection. I cleaned the connections and all is good. 130,000 here. 2003 Type S
the connector lead is too short and the wires can be pulled out or just crudded
acura dealer has an update kit with longer wires and new connector setup ~$20
easy diy
some have prob with the resistor for blower motor, located on mount for motor
remove its heat sink/cover and inspect
time for new cabin filters and shop vac anywhere you can reach!!

I just recently changed to the the blower motor to a new one and switched the updated wire harness and swapped out the transistor and my ac is still weak.
can anyone chime in on this? possibility I might have to recharge the a/c system?
