Unhappy 2003 Tl Headlight Help!!!!!!!

FEW MONTH A GO I BROUGHT USED 2003 ACURA TL FOR MY WIFE. AND I NOTICED THAT HEADLIGHT WAS KINDA DIM AND AIMING WAS TOO LOW, SO I DECIDED TO BUY D2R BULD. WHEN I TRIED TO INSTALL THEM I WAS ASTONISHED BECAUSE WHEN I REMOVE THE BLACK BOX COVER I NOTICED THAT MY LIGHT BULD WAS INFACT 9005 WITH 9005 CONNECTOR ATTACH TO THEM (ITS NOT THE HIGHT BEAM). THE WIRING LOOKS ORIGINAL WITH BLACK AND RED WIRE ATTACH TO THE 9005 FEMALE CONNECTOR. I WAS JUST CURIOS IF MY TL DID CAME WITH ORIGINAL HID HOW CAN I TELL THEM? THE HEAD LIGHT ASSEMBLY SHOW D2R ON THE TOP OF HEADLIGHT HOUSING. HOW CAN I TRACE THE BALLST OR THE IGNIGHTER? WHERE ARE THEY LOCATED( I DONT WANT TO REMOVE MY BUMPER ), ANY OTHER WAY TO FIND? :
MY SECOUND QUESTION IS IF MY TL DID HAVE THE BALLAST OR THE IGINITER IS THERE A 9005 CONNECTOR ADAPTER WITH D2R CONNECTION END? I ALREADY BROUGHT GE 6000K D2R FROM EBAY AND THERE IS NO REFUND.
MY LAST QUESTION IS IF IT DID NOT CAME WITH BALLAST OR IGNITHER WHERE CAN I BUY THE HID CONVERSION KIT WITHOUT THE D2R LIGHT BULB?

THANK SO MUCH,

P.S. IS THERE ANY READER OUT THERE CAN SUGGEST OTHER METHOD, IF MY TL DID OR DID NOT COME WHITH BALLAST AND IGNIGHTER BUT WITH 9005 CONNECTOR AND I WANT TO CONNECT THEM TO MY D2R BULB. MY D2R REPLACEMENT BULB'S END CONNECTION LOOKS LIKE CONE WITH SINGLE HOLE IN THE MIDDLE SO EVEN IF I PURCHASED THE 9005 HID PLUG AND PLAY TYPE OF WIRING HARNESS SUCH AS THESE "http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/9006-9005-Plug-Play-connectors-D2S-D2R-wire-harness-HID_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ36476QQihZ017QQitem Z270079974278QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW" IT WOULD NOT WORK BECAUSE THE END DOESNOT HAVE THE CONNECTOR BASE TO ATTACH TO D2R BULB. AND IF THERE IS END BASE THAT CAN BE ATTACHED TO THE D2R BULB CAN I USE THE HID'S WITH OUT THE BALLST AND IGNIGHTER? HELP!!!! OR ANY SUGGESTION.

P.P.S. ANYONE KNOW THE PROCEDURE OF HEADLIGHT AIMING ADJUSTMENT SCREW LOCATION? I KNOW THE HEADLIGHT ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE BUT I NEED TO FIND OUT HOW TO AIM THESE LIGHTS.I CANNOT FIND ANY THREADS. SO FAR TEMPRORAY I REPLACED THE LIGHTS BULD WITH SILVERSTAR AND THE AIMING IS TOO LOW OUT OF RANGE.

While you're looking for this information, see if you can find your CAPS LOCK key.

And, no, you can not use HID bulbs without the ballast and ignitor. Someone replaced the HIDs on your car with halogens. You got ripped.

The HID headlights on second generation TLs are a frequent theft target so, as MikePA suggested, someone may have installed a less expensive replacement. Replacing the HID hardware is very expensive.

Did you get any sort of warranty with your TL? IF so, you might want to see if that would cover the HID hardware.

Did you ever run a CarFax report on your TL? If not, you might want to now. The headlight replacement would make me wonder about the history of the car.

And definitely don't post in "ALL CAPS". On internet forums it's the equivalent of screaming and it also makes messages very hard to read.

OK GUYS OOOPS LOL, ok. I have not trace the ballast and igniter but seems like some one did installed or converted to regular halogen due to theft or maybe car accident.
But now I wanted to know how can I upgrade it to HID? I already brought GE 6000k D2R.
Many of the kit is rebased type. I need a kit without the Lamp and maybe base connection of D2R. In price range of under $150
I got a budjet, like $250. I have so far spend close to $100 just for the D2R, mean while I did upgrade to Silverstar from pepboys(i could return that)and my beam is off, and is way too low, anyone out there know how to adjust / aiming the headlight lamp on my TL? can anyone post a thread from other's like (acurawo**D.com)sites or from your own archives?Their isn't any instruction in the owner's manual Thanks,

google xenon lights, and you'll see bunch of sites selling the HID conversion kits. Although i don't know if they can sell it without the bulbs, you can try asking them. Also, there are different kinds too, like made in taiwan ones are usually cheaper than made in japan ones.

not to be an ass but are you sure your not looking at the highs. those are 9005's but ive never heard of the lows being non hid. if you take the bumper off look under the light thats where the ballast should be.

only way you can really tell and get some pics of the back of the light with the lows cap off.

thanks all, yeah its its not the high beams but its been converted to the 9005's.
just curious if my headlight bulb is converted to the 9005 then just woundering its there supposed to be adaptor at the back of headlight assembly to fit the D2r's? cause there is only a circular hole with retaining clip to hold the bulb.
