2001 TL 3.2 Power Window issue

I replaced the Window Regulator on the Driver's door and upon testing, the window barely moves up or down. I can force it by pulling the window up or down while pressing the button, but obviously it isn't working right. I am at a lost for the cause. It is a brand new regulator and it sounds like it is working just fine. It just seems to be getting caught somewhere.

Anyone have a similar issue? I personally don't think it's a problem solved by a silicon spray as it is completely stopping if I don't pull or push on it.

Much appreciated!

Try and see if you can find what it's getting caught on. Maybe the rubber seal is getting stuck on the glass pane?
Obviously make sure everything that needs lubricant has it.

Oh, and welcome to the forums!

Thank you for your reply Arkady! I did pull it apart and found that nothing was blocking it. I went and bought some Silicon spray to just try it anyway and sure enough, it worked. I guess after 2 years of not moving, it just needed a little lubrication.
Appreciate the help!
Thanks for the welcome as well. I hope to learn a lot here.
