Sounds like you have a bad master switch.

Locks, make sure all your door pins are working (ie open each door and see if the dome light turns on, same with the trunk)

If each individual door window will work by it's designated switch, one would feel safe in assuming that the power window motor and each door's window components are working ok, by the individual door switches.
So, the logical place to investigate would be the driver's door master switch. The door panel will need to be removed in order to check the wiring connections and switch. May be a poor contact, something worn out or corroded within the master switch ?

For the door locks, it may simply be one of the door's lock mechanism needing lubed up. Check each individual door knob when pushing down or pulling up......does one of them seem to bind tightly or hang up ? If so, pull that particular door panel off and lube the internal lock mechanism. It could be a faulty actuator ?

fsttyms1-I forgot to note that i have tried fully functional switches from 2 different friends 99 TL..both failed the same way

3.2TLc-the wiring shows that there is 1 pin that supports the power of the windows. Not to respective pins for each window, thats where im getting stuck

Thank you both for your responses

Mine acts the same. Individual doors can up and down. But the master switch can only go down the passenger front, not up. I bought another master switch, but the same results.

With a multi meter, the next place i would test is the signal where it comes into the car from the door. There may be a short with the wires in the rubber boot.

I was referring to the manual door locking knob. If the internal lock components are not working freely,
the knob may not be fully in position.

Try lubing the mechanisms and make sure that the rods operate when the knob is worked.

I agree with fsttyms. Wires in the boot in the driver door hinge area can break over time.
