Unhappy 1999 TL still wont start

I have a 1999 TL and it wont start 4 days after getting a new starter. It has been working fine until today, what else could be the problem?

Battery?

Ignition Switch?

Bad starter? - was it used?

More information would be helpful.

Yeah..does it do anything? Try to turn over? It's not often that a starter goes out on a Honda.....I've had various Hondas that went 200k-240k and never needed one. Bang on the steering wheel while you turn the key..thats what fixed mine....lol

did you bang on the steering wheel or remove the steering column cover and move the wiring a bit?

the engine is getting fuel because i can hear it kick on when i try to start the car. @ jasmine thats what im starting to think.
Someone said it may be a recall on the ignition switch, how do i find out if it has ever been changed since im the 2nd owner?

1 800 382 2238x5 acura care- recall info center ,,need cars VIN to register as owner and get info

a 99 ! I would have started with a new ignition switch -as soria suggested in the first reply here
even if it was replaced once- chances are that one failed too,,same garbage part
with several years on it
(do you have several keys on the ring..weight?)

Most here go aftermarket for 50 bucks and be done with it, call local big name stores.
stories of several failures on one car, using dealer part, can be found here on azine

Honda fuel pumps usually last the life of the car...my new ignition switch lasted about 6 months until I had to start bashing the steering wheel every now and then. Garbage......even Magna fixed our stupid exploding mirror issue but Honda leaves us with these shitty ignition switches?
