02 TLS FOG lights NOT working help =(

I have an 02 TLS, i installed HID for my fogs. it was working fine since the day i installed them, been over 3 months already, but last night when i try to turn on the fog lights both sides aren't working. i was trying to locate fog light fuse but no luck. anyone have a problem like this before? if there's a fuse where is it?

thanks

Are you getting the click noise from the relay?

Your switch may be fried.

The fuse is under the hood.

I'll check the switch later, i'll pop the switch out and connect those two wires. HAHAHA would that work?

Look under the top of the fuse box, it gives you a full diagram of what is what.

If the fuse is blown then the relay is bad.

Also you could probably pick up a switch for like $10.

I doubt the HIDs went bad.

IIRC the switch is a common problem on a 2G.

I know when my fog lights wouldn't turn on, my switch was the culprit.

Bad ground?

Change the bulbs out and see if it works on the working side.

Replace with the correct amp. fuse only- there's probably a reason they blew, maybe a bare wire touching somewhere that you'll have to correct.

02 TL-S . My headlights are coming on one at a time or not at all. I have to flip it on and off and then one side lights up. I have to keep doing this until both sides light up. It seems like if the bulbs were out they wouldnt come on at all. Anybody else had this problem ?

You may want to wire in some diodes so you won't fry the switch in the future. Hid's if not installed with diodes will eventually lead to electrical problems. Too much current is coming up stream after turning them off.

Same thing happen to me only it was the fog lights. I would check the plug itself where the ballast plugs in to the cars harness. When I checked it out, It was drenched with water and the contacts were all corroded. I cleaned them up and wrapped the plug with electrical tape. No more problems.

Put some dielectric grease on contacts prone to getting wet to prevent corrosion.
