My 99 tl Stalls after start?

hi, so i have a CAI installed in my car, but a few weeks ago its been raining non stop for a week and streets started to flood so i changed my intake to short. After a few day, lets just say i park to go eat at a restaurant and i come out and start it, it would start and run for about a second and start shaking and shuts off. Any idea what this could be? Thankks

From your list of mods, looks like you dont have an intake, i kinda thought it was from my intake so guess not ;/

A pretty common problem for the 1999 TL is a failing ignition switch. It can cause stalling problems. There is actually a recall for it and, if it hasn't been replaced already, Acura will install a new one for free.

You can also replace it yourself and there's an excellent "how to" thread linked in the DIY Thread.

My 1999 TL is on its third ignition switch.

I hve this exact problem.

Each time i would take off the IM clean EGR, and reinstall properly. I think its a vac leak though\

In my case it is for sure not the IACV
