Time to rebuild?

Already started on the body work, trying to stay motivated and doing 1 panel at a time, besides sanding, do you guys recommend using chemical paint stripper to remove the paint down to bare metal?

FUCKING AWESOME. Keep up the progress! FYI you'll want to remove your Mugen trunk lip in the prep.

Any hints on the future color?

Don't take it down to bare metal. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Sand it. Dont go to bare metal if you dont have to. Use the existing paint/primer as the base. The new paint will adhere better.

Mugen Wing is in my room, the paint guys painted over the emblem and I'm debating if I should just leave it like that, or if I should sand off the paint...

how much did this set you back if you dont mind me asking? did you save any money by doing some of the sanding yourself?

600 for paint, and I saved 120 per panel by doing it myself.

Yeah wetsanding and buffing are still needed but according to the paint shop, I need to let my paint cure for a month or so until I can proceed with the aforementioned.

Dope! Paint came out great! deff a noticeable metallic. I say leave the paint over the emblem, or strip it completely and have it repainted with the emblem covered. the sanding may ruin the emblem. Wheels next!!
