clean, but get a cai, draws cold air instead of the hot engine bay air, thus giving a bit more power.

i had mine black.. but it was too much for me. painted it metallic black. until the dyno day for the ATLP exhaust..

i'm coverless... lol

my H badge and spark plug left at the dyno shop.. haha

How long did it take you to do this? I've been thinking about cleaning mine for a while.

To clean the engine alone took me about 1 hour,taking my time,I used a degreaser ,let it sit for 10 mins,wash it off with the hose,go for a ride to dry up most of the water,come back and clean the rest of it with a rag and then dress it up with armorall or anything used for tire shine and final step with a teryy cloth wipe off excess.Maintenance:wipe down after every wash.

how did you wash it? wouldn't hosing it down be really bad?

No, not really. Just don't keep hosing one particular area for a period of time. Start from one side, wash it and keep moving to the other side, and then back. The wash isn't more than two minutes for me. Remember though, to keep your battery covered and your intake ( aftermarket ) covered with a towel. Battery, isn't that big of a deal, but it gets wet YOU NEED to completely dry it first ( top part ).

Now,those are 17's. The drop is 1.5 front and 1.25 back.....I think. Maybe my shocks need to be changed.

i got like the same intake - but i made it a lesser warm air. i made a custom warm air block for it.
