Hmm, I've always wondered how a TL would look if the door pillars were body colour matched... interesting...

I respect the amount of work and talent it took to paint this car, but I would never do it even if I could afford it.

Thank God thas what i was thinking...
this thread has a lotta fail in it...

our cars are FWD and already often looked down on from "real" vip car drivers... TL's are too sporty, not fwd, cant fit wide wheels, etc...

i think one important thing to remember here is that all the little accesories that vip cars have (neckpads, curtains, fusa, knots, woodgrain tables, etc) mean NOTHING if your car doesnt have the right stance and wheel fitment. Only a few cars on this forum have it, to me.... samson sold his car and parted it (white tl from hawaii) so that car's no more.... brandon's still got his black tl but he's rarely, if ever on these forums...

air suspension, or have the balls to go LOOOOW on coilovers, a clean kit (oem is everywhere, true, but clean... assuming you dont have the $ for custom bumper/sideskirt work)... and a set of good sick wheels. IMO those are the bare essentials.

Do they cut the front bumper and mold it on or what?? That accord needs smaller window visors, but like a great man, he did the amber internally, and looks great, IMO just imagine it without the amber it would look plain. NO? The Amber flows well with the Amber side markers, but no let us clear it out and put blue bulbs and the same with the sidemarker LMAO!!!

One question, is that the JDM Front bumper for the 99-01TL molded on? Because I am aware of two.

Heh, are there any of these "VIP" cars in any areas with more... inhospitable climates? Seems that that vast majority thus far are out in beautiful Hawaii

I suppose it's mainly due to the air ride and road conditions when it gets colder in other areas... just curious if anyone in other areas has tried for the same look

<<<

Vip style is classic, simple yet beautiful, sleek and sexy
I just like insane

and extra VIP points for curtains. but seriously nice authentic ones.

lotta us down here in HI are big on the vip movement now...

but, as happens to all good things, there's also becoming a rise of terrible ghetto wannabe vip cars as well....

the ones shown here are very fine examples. and you shoulda seen sakura's accord before this look, it was completely different
