My FAIL. + some good.. i guess (56k no.)
anywho, since i painted my rear lip, i thought "HEY~! might as well do my effed up hood.... "
results... i rushed it... and BLAH and
so basically, i effed up my hood more and this is how im going to the All-Cali Meet...
this makes me wanna repaint my whole car since my trunk has the A + "A C U R A" + "3.2TL" tanlines.. and my front lip is a fresh NBP compared to the rest along with the decklid (still deciding) and roof spoiler (yea.. still deciding) ... anywho. Enjoy.
pics thanks to ib18c1
OTHERS:
1: 3G TL BASE - AM - ib18c1 rockin' Work VS-XX in custom paint
2: 3G TL - NBP - acurajj rockin' Work Varianza T1s
3: 2G TL-P - NBP - me rockin' effed up hood with LE37
notice the hazzzzzzy hood.
I'm hiding in shame..

i just wasn't thinking when i prepped before doing primer... i sanded everything down with 80 grit??? and then i forgot to use a higher grit to smoothen it out before i started painting...
about the meguiars, eh..... i'll go another time. you'll see the "tanline"

man i love the look of your TL with the small exception of your hood ! One of the my favorite ones on the site for sure!
Actually my car is in the body shop right now for the hood and the front bumper to be repainted and thankfully its cover under insurance from rock hitting them

It doesn't look that bad to be honest, maybe because the picture is at an odd angle.
Whatever the case, maybe you should try a vinyl cover for the hood, it might save you a few bucks and you get paint protection.

but that was my problem.. i forgot to work my way up..
clear coat was from a can as well. rear lip came out good. so
im guessing this is also because i really didn't let the paint cure and just went ahead and wet sanded...
