Guys, I have a 2002 TL and want to add a mesh grille to my car. Can anyone give me a hand on how I can go about getting one. Thanks guys.

 

go to homedepot and get some aluminum gutter guard and a pair of tin snips ,,,,,,remove ur grill and carefully take it apart and apply the mesh make sure u leave enough at the top to fold over to meet the hood if u need help holla ,,,,nsxgo@aol.com .......castlehilllll ....

 

hmm i didnt think you could do this with 02 models cuz the grille is bigger than 99-00 The mesh at home depot is barely enough to fit on an 00 so I don't think 02's can use the same stuff

 

i did mine with a piece i found on the job and if they dont have it at home depot....im sure i can get it at a hardware store like georges on westchester ave by castlehill

 

you have to solder the pieces together... im doing it this wkend

solder ????...... i didnt do any soldering ...i just cut mine to shape and screwed everything back together.....took me half an hour or so.....what are u soldering tooo anyway....can u explain further ?

 

since the home depot gutter guard isnt wide enough to cover the whole grill, 2 gutter guard strips have to be soldered together, then cut to shap and screwed down..... thats what a link on acura-cl.com said. sorry about the confusion
