fog light & lic plate mod

Just one pic of the front of my car after doing Bxcsig (alternate) fog light mod, installing 6000K HID fogs & re-mounting my licence plate.

Damn, that's sweet. When you say mod do you mean being able to turn on just fogs w/out headlights or did you do something else? Lookin' good!

Thanks for the comments. Yes when I say mod I mean turning the fogs on w/o the headlights or the parking lights on, as long as the fog light button is in the on position the fogs come on right away when car is turned on. Check this thread for instructons and pics. https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77953

If you want them always ON, just tap the blue/red wire I believe Pin 2 instead of the whiet/red Then they will be like DRLs too that never turn off

Won't the license plate block air coming into the lower part of the radiator?

$264 is not bad I guess for Techone and it does make it look a little like halogens.

VTEC11 --No the air can still get behind the plate

EL MAFIOSO -- they would probably be closer if I got the same bulb for the headlight, but I'm not ready to sacrafice my night vision to match colours

paultl -- I'll post a DIY in this thread later today or tomorrow if you'd like, its very easy and cheap

LargeOne -- werd

Peace, Jeff

front lic plate mod

okay here it is, keep in mind that the brackets that i used i found laying around in my shop and will probably have a local metal shop make proper ones for me.

first i started with the bracket:

second they had to be bent to fit the underside of the bumper:

after bending it was straight to the bumper:

and

then i took a cheap chrome lic plate frame and 4 lic plate nuts, bolts and lock-washers

screw it all together and you're done

Peace, Jeff
