Took 4 hours but it was well worth it...
Steps taken:
1)Palmolive(All out of Dawn)
2)Mother's Clay
3)Palmolive
4)Klasse Polish
5)Mother's Carnuba Wax

Review of products:
If you haven't clayed ur car yet, I suggest you RUN not walk and get Mother's Claybar. This stuff is AMAZING. You will not believe the crap that is on ur car. My car is silky smooth now, just like the day I bought, which was 3 years ago.

As for the klasse, Ive used this in the past and I really liked it. Simple to put on and buff out. Very good product and fairly cheap.

Mother Carnuba Wax: Took awhile to buff out(by hand), but the results are very very nice. Using this along with the polish, helped the shine out very well.

All in all, $20 in products+4 hours=One CLEAN TL.

When you use dishwashing soap doesn't your clearcoat come off? What did you use to put a new layer of clearcoat back on?

Dishingwashing liquid will only take out the wax. Wont do any harm to the paint or clear coat. But i dun recommend using it everytime you wash the car. Only use it when you plan to change the brand of the wax. ie. zaino.

Yes!! clay bar is literall a bar of clay. It's use to remove all the contaminents that cant be seen by the eyes. It is very important to clay when doing zaino. even if it's a new car. You must have some lubricant(car wash soap with a lot of water) when claying. The clay might stick to the surface the frist few second but if you give it enough lubricant, it should slide on the surface like butter.

Try it out when you have time.

LMAO... I can just see my friends coming up when I'm "claying" my car and they find out what I'm doing to it... they'll be like "Obsessed!" Well, I am basically married to my car, but its name is Joshua.... I hope that doesn't make me gay!!!

Just an FYI....you should have only used dishwasher soap ONCE in the process. The 2nd wash you did should have been a regular car soap as most dishwasher soap leaves a film after washing your car (removed by CAR wash soap).

Looking really good man. I never thought that the BMW sides would look good on a TL unless the sides were cleared, but it really doesnt look that bad.

Looks great! I've got the same wheels, I think it might look a little better with the center caps though. I bought the 7 series sidemarkers a month or so ago, but now I'm not so sure if I am going to put them in or not. If anybody wants them.........
