Haha the Crown Vics not mine, thats not even my house, thats where I get my car washed. But if I were to put those on a crown vic out here I would get laughed at, one of my friends has a vic on 24s and the other on 26s.

Most people don't like the whole idea of big rims on cars, but down here its just a trend, I live in about 10 miles from New Orleans.

welcome to the forum.
youre pretty young and new so people should take it easy on you.

a couple of things you should know about wheels.

The right wheels look like the right wheels because of offset, offset defines how flush the wheels sit to the fender, the lower the offset, the closer to the fender. low ofset wheels also make the wheel look "bigger" because of flushness.

Chrome wheels that have a large diameter tend to have a high offset, so they can fit, so in tern, you get a huge wheel with a huge face. and they look really thin and dont come close to being flush to the fenders. because the wheels dont look flush, they make the car look kind of silly because you have a 22' wheel with like a 55 offset and huge chrome tends to be thin. so like a 7-8' width makes the wheel look less aggressive.

if you want your car to look aggressive and hurt everyones feelings (in a good way) a nice sized 19' with a 40-45 offset thats 8 inches is a pretty aggressive set-up and will make your car look amazing, handle amazing, and be taken seriously.

just because everyone is doing it, doesnt mean it looks good or works. see: (kanyes glasses)

the offset on the wheels is a +35mm, also the wheel is 8in wide, the wheels sit flush, they stick out none the pics may make it look like they stick out, but they dont.

Yes the car is sitting in front of a house, where i get it washed, and im going be very frank when i say i dont wash it because i would rather spend the money to have it washed.

i thought about doing a set of 19s, only reason i didnt was becuase my friend was in a bind and needed the money, so i bout the wheels off his altima

and to whoever said the car has to be slow as hell, the wheels really made no difference, still runs in the 14s

14s what...

and just cuz your friend was in a bind doesn't mean that you have to go be a superhero and buy his donk wheels off him..

and why wouldn't you even wash your own car? whats the point of having the car then and putting the wheels on? lol

im calling a HUGE BS on that one lol.... that car will NOT run 14's with 22's on it.. maybe if it was being dragged by a plane MAYBE

gotta be easy on what claims you make on a TL forum.. people will out you quick on stuff like that

and lets not go saying its a trend in or around the New Orleans Area... im about 10 miles from the city myself.. and it is most definately not a trend.. specifically not on these cars... there are plenty N.O. people on this site and none of them have wheels like that..

, yeah i do pay one of my friends to wash it, and as for the microfiber towel, yeah he uses them, thats whats he does on the side for extra money
my next mods will be, type s kit(sence mine was stolen),exhuast and intake, and adding the 24s after i lift it about 3 more inches all the way around

nice try.. but no.. i work and stay in Baton Rouge on weekends.. im across the lake in slidell... good try though

oh and i visit No Problem on a regular basis with both my TL and my 944.. i can assure you i have never seen any car with 22's run on open nights.. but would be glad to see you try.. and so would the rest of belle rose

lets not start issues with you being a new member and from LA at that..

you wanted ALL opinions.. unfortunately your not gonna get much props on this particular forum b/c of its biasedness..

but you PM whenever your running that big body at the track and me and the mrs. will gladly go out to watch.. hell i'd put my TL-P against that boat any day of the week
