I've been holding my tongue on this thread, but I gotta say... go with the VIP look rather than 24's... I dunno about where you live, but where I'm from, I see people driving donks and everyone around me, including myself, is like "That is so ghetto." The vip look, on ther other hand, gives off a nicer vibe imo. it'll cost a lot of money (no giovanna's ) but it'll turn heads. no stick-on fender vents, or chrome b-pillars. GL!

gotta be easy on what claims you make on a TL forum.. people will out you quick on stuff like that

and lets not go saying its a trend in or around the New Orleans Area... im about 10 miles from the city myself.. and it is most definately not a trend.. specifically not on these cars... there are plenty N.O. people on this site and none of them have wheels like that..
rockstar has a point 24'Zz?? USDM DONK!! I knew that JDMDONK!! pic would have influenced someone!!! lol

Hopefully you take our comments and look at it in a positive way, we all could afford 24'zz but sorry they arent for a TL and we are just being honest, you may think some are hating but truth is we arent, everyone on here will have their own opinion but we all basically state what we think personally cause this is pretty much our 2nd GEN World headquarters, but like i said a TL dropped with 19'zz drools > Chevy with 32'Zz puke!!! are completely different.....

Drop it with some 19's and that thing is good to go!

22's on a TL has that "hood rich" look to it.

I don't like the 22z style on the TL but after reading this thread, I give mad respect to greeno728 for just hanging in there through all the flames

Ah, I see.....well it looks like it! Reminds me of an Impala or Caprice or something. You should get some bigger exhaust tips too. I have 3A tips and they are a bit bigger than the stock ones..shiny as well!

I don't really know what makes a car VIP style but from the looks of it...it's much cleaner looking. If I had a GS400 I'd go VIP style too lol

Ehhhhhhh....i'm not feeling the 22's or the 24's. I'm actually kinda interested in where this is going. First TL with lip kit, exhaust, intake, 24's and raised...props for being original? lol

If you bought if for the "luxury feel" then why did you put "old piece of shit hoopty" wheels on it? Nothing against you or your choice of styles at all, but you picked the wrong car. It doesn't help the cars looks at all, hurts performance and fuel economy, and probably doesn't get many good looks like you might imagine. I'm sure people will tell you it looks good, but the people who aren't face to face with you who don't care what you think about what they say most likely think it looks retarded, just not the kind of car for 20+. Its got to flow and unfortunately it doesn't.

However if you like it, do it. Just.....the more pictures you post of it, the sadder I'll be

damn dude each to his own and i respect that, but please don't put a lift kit and try to fit 24's. it's not an impala or charger.

and please don't make up ridiculous numbers like running 14's with those big ass wheels. that's when people get irritated.

so far you've been a brave soul...

22's are too big for a TL mane, but if you like it thats all that matters.

Don't do it.

Get 19s and call it a day.

Not worth it at all IMO.

If you want 22s then buy a truck or Caprice.
