Take out spare tire, stereo, a/c etc. Check the CL side they do it all the time.

remove everything in the car. carpet padding, sound deadening, trimming excess metal, using lighter seats, etc

A good one would be the frame resonance dampeners next to the rear mount.

I got a friend that took it to the extreme... he did all what everyone said, and on top took out the power steering, made his whole exterior carbon fiber, and he even took out his back seats. Hes crazy

Why? Unless you strip it completely you won't even notice a difference. Except it will be noisy and look stupid. *shrugs*

weight reduction is great for a daily that you're looking to have a little fun with. Nothing beats shedding lbs. Better acceleration, handling, throttle response, gas mileage, braking...etc. IMO you should have some go to your ride before stripping it however, because if you have a stripped TL that runs 14's you'll look like a fool. Nothing wrong with stripping car and not tracking it, but slap some boost on it or swap the motor/tranny and build something worth stripping first. Weight reduction is the cheapest mod, just be on the safe side for a daily.
